Apple News has some advertising in the app. However, the ads are unintrusive, and the news feed is clean and straightforward. You can also save articles to your Favorites list. There is a whole tab dedicated to saving articles.
Thumbs-Up Icon
Macbroo News also has a Suggest More feature. This allows you to recommend news stories to other users based on what they like and dislike. Just click on the thumbs-up icon above the story to open up a new menu with more suggestions.
Another feature is the Saved Stories section in the sidebar. These are great for holding onto stories for later reading. They won’t save articles for offline reading, but they are a handy reference.

If you’re looking to block a channel or two and still be able to read the latest news from them, then you’ve come to the right place. While Apple hasn’t given us a foolproof solution, it has given us the tools we need to make it happen.
Notable Bug
In the past few months, we’ve seen a few bugs. One notable bug is that it’s not easy to remember which channels are blocked. You can’t even tell when you’ve got one blocked. Another oddity is that it’s impossible to show a list of all channels in a list.
Macbroo For starters, the Apple News app doesn’t provide full-screen mode, so you have to settle for a single view with a few sidebars. This lack of a consistent viewing experience hurts the quality of the content you’re reading. Thankfully, Apple hasn’t forgotten the latest edition of iOS. It’s also able to recommend stories that match your interests.
Mac notifications are great for keeping tabs on your messages, emails, and upcoming events. However, too many notifications can become a hassle. That’s why there are plenty of ways to turn notifications on or off on your Mac.
Personalized Downtime Period
One of the easiest ways to turn off notifications is to use Do Not Disturb. This feature allows users to create a personalized downtime period. For example, you could set it to suppress all notifications for the next hour.
You can also mute notifications. While this option doesn’t play the sound, it will still display the notification, so you can read it.
Mute Individual Apps
There’s another way to turn off Mac notifications, but it requires a little extra work. In addition to turning off all of your notifications, you can also mute individual apps.
System Preferences
Macbroo use this feature, go to the Notifications menu, located in System Preferences. You’ll see a list of all of your apps. Select the app you’d like to disable and scroll down.
There are a few ways to manage subscriptions in Apple News. These include purchasing a new subscription, reactivating an inactive subscription, and cancelling a subscription. It is also important to note that some channels have subscriptions.
Active & Inactive Subscriptions
The App Store app is an option for people who use macOS Mojave to manage subscriptions. You can do this by selecting the Manage link in the app. This will open a screen that shows a list of active and inactive subscriptions.
Once you have a subscription, you can edit it or upgrade it. You can also upgrade your subscription to an annual plan, or downgrade it to a monthly plan.
If you are an iOS user, you can check your subscriptions from iCloud settings. You will need to log in using your Apple ID.
Final Thoughts:
When you have an active subscription, you will see a line displaying “Subscriptions” and “View Information.” Click the Edit button next to a subscription, and you can change it to an annual or monthly subscription. To cancel it, simply select the Cancel subscription button. However, you will not be able to receive a refund for any of the time you have already paid for.
